Tatjana Rikure is researcher and lecturer in the Department of Applied Systems Software at the Riga Technical University (RTU), Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Institute of Applied Computer Systems.
She holds Dr.sc.ing. degree in Computer Science and Information Technology (2009). She is researcher in mobile and e-learning, Intelligent Tutoring Systems, Human-Computer-Interaction, web technologies and security. She is author of five educational books and many instructional materials for teaching different courses in the computer science field. Author of many scientific publications in ICT. She has experience of managing EC FP6 project, while now she is participating as a researcher in several ongoing international and local projects in the field of ICT.
Has participated in following international projects:
- EC FP6 IST CA Project IST4Balt (Information Society Technologies Promotion in Baltic States), project duration: 09.2004-12.2007.
- EC FP6 IST Project eLOGMAR-M (Web-based and Mobile Solutions for Collaborative Work Environment with Logistics and Maritime Applications), project duration: 09.2004-09.2006.
- EC FP6 IST STREP Project UNITE (Unified e-Learning Environment for the School), project duration: 02.2006 – 06.2008.
- Assessment material preparation in the frame of QUESTE (Quality System of European Scientific & Technical Education – Assessment and Label of Excellence) in 2007 and 2008.
- Baltic Sea Region (BSR) Interreg IVb Programme Project BONITA (Baltic Organisation and Network of Innovation Transfer and Associations), project duration: 10.2008. – 04.2012.
- as well as participation in several local projects financed by Latvian Council of Science (LCS).
