Holds MSc degree of engineering science in computer systems from Riga Technical University (2007) and certificate in Teaching of Engineering Sciences from RTU Institute of Humanities. Since 2007 is a PhD student in RTU, the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology. Currently works as a researcher in The Environment Modelling Centre which is a is a part of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology of the Riga Technical University and as a lecturer in the Division of Applied Systems Software and Institute of Languages at the Riga Technical University (RTU).
