   Division of Applied Systems Software was set up in 1998 as the part of Informatics and Programming Department

   Head of Division: Prof., Dr. habil. sc. ing., Corresponding member of Latvian Academy of Science Leonid Novitsky.

   Prof. L.Novitsky and as. Prof. V.Shitikov work at the Riga Technical University (former Riga Polytechnical Institute) from 1973.

   Division of Applied Systems Software keeps close contacts with colleagues from Informatics and Programming Department and Division of Software Engineering.
